Cat 5e/Class D, F/UTP shielded patch cords shall be constructed of 26 AWG shielded twisted pair stranded copper cable with a shielded high performance modular plug at each end. Patch cords shall be used in all work area outlets and modular patch panels. All patch cords shall be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.
